Winter weddings are becoming more and more popular! Aside from Christmas, New Year and the odd birthday there isn’t a lot going on in Winter, there are lots of places that offer special prices because Winter isn’t the ‘typical’ wedding season. Getting married at this time of year can be super magical and it’s really easy to dress a winter wedding with baubles, glitter and sparkly decorations or festive trees!
This year two of my favourites were Dean and Yanitsa’s wedding at Court Coleman and Christina and Richard’s big day at Fairy Hill.
Dean and Yanitsa celebrated with family and friends from near and far! With lots of amazing traditions from both cultures it was wicked to see something different. Court Coleman has lovely grounds and I got some great shots of the pair in-between all the fun! Yanitsa was so brave and didn’t complain of the cold once, even though it was cold AF.
Christina and Richard tied the knot at Fairy Hill in Swansea. The weather was so mild for December; the happy couple had planned everything down to the tiniest detail. There was an amazing botanical wreath, I’m excited to have had a couple of weddings at Fairy Hill this year and I have some booked already for 2019. It’s definitely a really cool place to get hitched!
Although it was really 2017, another awesome Winter wedding was Ben and Jess’s day at Trevenna Barns in Cornwall! Ben started off the day with a game of rugby! They were so up for a party and having a good time, they embraced the Christmas festivities and named their tables after Christmas films. It was really cool!
