Questions To Ask Your Wedding Photographer
Be sure to ask your photographer these questions:
Do you have insurance?
A: Yes I am fully insured as a professional photographer with public liability cover of up to £5,000,000.
Will you photograph my wedding or do you employ other photographers?
I will shoot every wedding. Sometimes I have an assistant and sometimes a second shooter, come with me.
How long do the images take to edit?
I like to spend a quality amount of time editing your images, therefore this process can take somewhere between 8-14 weeks.
How far do you travel?
A: I’ve worked in places such as South Korea, Vietnam, and Singapore to name a few , so of course I'm prepared to travel more than a few miles within the UK. Currently covering the South Wales area. I will cover other areas of the UK for a small negotiable fee.
Do we need to feed you?
Being a photographer is hungry work and we do ask that you feed us, with a meal at the venue, the time it would take to travel off site and all the things that could be missed or go wrong its just not worth the risk, and we do have to eat.
What do you do when you're not photographing weddings?
When I'm not shooting weddings, I am playing training for an annual Ironman Triathlon race, looking after my daughter Zoe, moutain biking or on other Professional Photography and Filmmaking projects.
How soon do I need to book?
If you want me to cover your wedding, then I want to do it. I am normally quite busy with weddings, and art projects so more notice is better. If you are arranging things with less then a year to go then still go ahead. Whenever your getting married, drop me a line and we can catch up for a chat.
Do you offer pre wedding photo shoots?
I’d be more than happy to shoot some engagement photos with you. It's a perfect way for us to break the ice with the camera around. That’s why I offer them for free with all my packages.
