In this post I have some of the:

  • Best South Wales Wedding Photos to took

  • Best South Wales Wedding Videography films I made

  • Best South Wales Wedding Venues to check out

Full Disclaimer there not all the best bits I have lots more blog posts scheduled after the holidays. Not all of them are South Wales Weddings as I work all over the UK and abroad but there all really cool so didn’t want to miss them out.

If you’re reading this, chances are you’re planning a summer wedding. You’re in the right place. I’ve put a little post together with some of the best bits from this year. Summer weddings are awesome. It’s normally great weather which gives you loads of options for cool outdoor stuff (although rain doesn’t scare me though I shoot through all weather it makes no difference to me).

I photographed loads of awesome weddings this year and this is more of a little taster of some of them, with it being close to the New Year I wanted to put a few posts out to give people some thoughts whilst wedding planning.

The Brides perfect wedding flowers, nice and bright to match the summer weather

Caz and Will had an awesome backyard festival feel DIY wedding in Hampshire. There were tipis, wild flowers and fireworks, it was an amazing day! I’m based in South Wales but love to travel and explore new places, I’m more than happy to travel distances to photograph your big day - it’s an excuse to get me out the house : )

Beautiful weather for this alternative festival summer wedding

Even the colour of the wedding car had a summer vibe

The long summer days make the evening really light which is amazing for your wedding reception

St.Fagans is a beautiful South Wales wedding venue where Jen and Dan chose to get hitched, we met them there originally at Cwtchfest (a wedding festival created by Cwtch the Bride Blog).  It was a beautiful sunny day and they had a wild party with their friends, it was amazing!

Lots of Star Wars themed details. Dan’s button hole - Darth Vader light Saber Combo

It was lush weather to have some drinks and play games outdoors in St Fagans

Putting that Groom on a pedestal a fun group shot

Just married Bristol, Sarah and Matt in Bristol

One of the high points of this summers weddings was Sarah and Matt’s wedding in Bristol.  They celebrated their big day at St. George’s, the reception hall there is spectacular and chosen specially by the gorgeous couple for the dancing they had planned.  Both Sarah and Matt are professional and award winning dancers, most of their friends and family love a good boogie too, so it was an awesome night.  I felt like I had a private viewing at Strictly Come Dancing!

I love seeing all the families get together on the big day

Croatia is an amazing place for a summer destination wedding

The Bridal Party getting excited the day of the wedding

The wedding ceremony was beautiful.

The coast line in Pula is stunning, a great place for a bride and groom to watch the sunset roll in on their wedding day.

Here’s a wedding film from Cardiff Castle, lots of people are now booking video packages with their photography and as I do both it’s easier and saves you money to book both with me.

Summer seems like a lifetime away right now, but every year seems to get quicker. If it’s important for you guys to connect with your wedding photographer like a friend, someone who enjoys a laugh and absolutely loves what he does come say hi.
